What this site collects.
This is a personal portfolio, not a product. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter and no advertising. The short version: almost nothing is collected, and none of it is sold.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other sites. What it records is aggregate: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, and what kind of device it was. I use it to know which case studies people actually read.
The access cookie
Some case studies are under NDA and sit behind a password. If you unlock one, the site sets a single cookie named ch_gate so you do not have to re-enter the password on every page. It stores a hashed token, never the password itself, and it expires after 90 days. It is used for nothing else, and clearing your cookies removes it.
What is not collected
- No accounts, and no passwords of yours — the gate password is mine, shared with you.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No email addresses, unless you choose to email me.
- No payment details of any kind.
If you email me
Your message and address sit in my mailbox, and I use them to reply and to keep track of a conversation. I do not add you to a list. If you ask me to delete the thread, I will.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes request logs (including IP addresses) as part of serving and protecting it. Fonts are served from Google Fonts.
